Products & Services: Automatic Alerts
Long gone are the days of "passive" and "dormant" CCTV systems. Today’s customers are active, involved, demanding and expect more from technology. That's another one of the many reason to deliver IVR Controls technology.
Whether the system is a single camera at a cabin on the lake, a dozen cameras in a shoe store or hundreds in a high school, every one utilizes the same advanced technology to transmit and notify the end user and / or the installing dealer that an "event" has occurred. Alerts can be triggered by a variety of events:
DEVICE
Every device on every system is monitored. Should a device ever fail to communicate, for whatever reason, an alert will be triggered and sent.
Example: A camera is knocked off a wall
Example: The camera is turned; changing the original field of view
Example: The internet connection goes down
MOTION
Cameras can detect motion within their field of view.
Example: Someone approaches your front door
Example: A car pulls into your driveway
Example: People are loitering outside of a store or around the back when the store is closed
SENSOR
Alarm sensors can be utilized to transmit an alert when the alarm is in the "unarmed" state.
Example: Someone opens a door to a gun cabinet
Example: Someone enters an area that is "off limits"
Example: A child gets too near a swimming pool
ALARM
Alarm sensors can transmit alerts when an actual alarm occurs.
Example: A door or window is opened
Example: A motion detector senses an intruder
Example: A panic button is pushed
The alerts can be transmitted by text messaging and / or email. Snapshot pictures can also be attached to emails, and may even be viewed on mobile devices, smart phones, etc.
