When the application requires a large number of cameras, high frame rate or extended archiving time, the OnSite Video Recorder (OVR) is the perfect solution. Combined with the power, speed and reliability of our web-based application, the OVR delivers the highest quality digital video in our industry, while solving the problems that are inherent in DVR's today.
Unlike a DVR or NVR, the OVR does not come with a predefined number of camera inputs. You decide how many cameras the OVR will record and manage, and unlike NVR platforms, there are no camera license fees to pay for. Each OVR is a workhorse; with hard drives ranging from 750GB to 4.5TB, they have plenty of space to store hundreds cameras for a long period of time. A separate 80GB hard drive is dedicated to the operating system (OS). Each camera can be configured to record up to 30FPS in a variety of image sizes up to 4CIF.
